Introduction

As an evolutionary anthropologist, I focus on the evolution of human behavioral diversity (or ethodiversity) and individual differences, along with the emergence and maintenance of dysfunctional behavioral mechanisms throughout human evolutionary history. My research also encompasses the infectious ecology of the Behavioral Immune System (BIS) and the evolutionary medical understanding of hominin pathologies. Employing agent-based modeling (ABM) within the scope of Human Behavioral Ecology, I investigate how multiple behavioral strategies adaptively evolve under varied socio-ecological conditions.
